Using Video as a Marketing Tool in 2019

While we cannot know exactly what is coming in the next years, we are left to speculate so we can put together a plan to get the most out of our marketing budget. You may even already have next year’s marketing budget put together. If it does not include video marketing, we strongly suggest that you consider adding it in. Statistics show that including video on landing pages may increase conversion rates by 80 percent. Including the word “video” in the subject line of your email campaigns can potentially increase your open rates by 19 percent.

You can create informational product videos for many different purposes and for every stage of your customer’s journey in the sales funnel. Not only will it yield to higher conversion, it can increase your brand awareness, encourage brand engagement, and so much more.

It is cost-effective.

Video marketing doesn’t need to be fancy. You can reach a large audience at minimal to no cost by simply uploading your videos on your Facebook page or Youtube. It is also really not that difficult to do. You can get elaborate with your studio and equipment, but these days we can already produce high-quality videos even with just an iPhone.

You can start by using a blog you’ve already written and turn it into a video. Or, you can film one of your salespeople explaining how to use one of your products. You can also just jump on Facebook Live and start talking about something relevant to your audience.

With the recent Facebook algorithm change, YouTube Live and Instagram Live are less crowded and the chances to be viewed is more viable. Keep your videos fun, personal, and engaging.
